Okay, the decorations I choose to display in my home have no bearing on how I perform my job. I was single-handedly keeping a demonic invasion of the world at bay for months, you know!

I see. So it is more like micromanaging on multiple levels, when you are not simply using it to stop umbrellas. There are theories that time is relative to an individual as well — if you are halting time on multiple different levels depending on how an individual perceives it, then—

The information I got from that wasn't useless, but unfortunately it did more to disprove the theories I'd had than support them.

Not exactly. [ … ] I figured you’d decided whatever came out of taking that plunge was too much hassle for you to bother with, seeing as you didn’t do anything for weeks. But you picked a hell of a time to suddenly decide it was worth it.

I didn't intend to try anything until I had a reason to, and had reason to believe the pros would outweigh the cons. At that point we'd had two weeks of unintentional deaths followed by one partially unsolved double murder, and we also knew that all of the dead still existed, were able to contact us, and didn't seem to be any worse off than we were.

It was the first time it made sense to give it a shot. In retrospect I suppose I could have chosen a killer with fewer emotional attachments than myself, but it really came down to what was convenient that night.

Genuinely the worst timing you could’ve come up with, that your reason to act cropped up right at the point no one actually needed to die anymore.

I understand why most of you are angry about it, and it's fair, going by your standards. I just see things differently. And in the end we all ended up here in one place anyway.
