Well, you did bring it pretty much everywhere else here, so we just had to go off what we know.

he looks away to try and hide that he’s laughing. aiba continues to stare. ]

Perhaps that was already more than enough.

It is less the choice to bring a pillow and more the choice of decoration, I believe.

[ date is just gone, farewell. like fully turned away, definitely laughing now. ]

[ (“ow—!”)

it does not stop him laughing. ]

I see. [ she pats her little hamster paw on his hand. well done. ] Although my understanding of the difficulties in holding off an invasion when you can stop time is admittedly a little hazy. I would be curious to know more.

[ is she being sincere? is she dragging him? who can say. ]

[ dude don’t drop a lady’s rank because she’s shittalking you in front of this entire bar. that’s rude. ]

I see. So it is more like micromanaging on multiple levels, when you are not simply using it to stop umbrellas. There are theories that time is relative to an individual as well — if you are halting time on multiple different levels depending on how an individual perceives it, then—

[ and she’s off. ]

Spread too thin? Something like that.

[ aiba is still mumbling about time and also einstein’s theory of relativity in the background but i’m not typing all of that up. ]

And the result of slipping is—

[ he taps the bar counter. ] Pretty much this then.

[ now that would be a neat power. ]

Hmm.

Not so much now though, huh? [ seeing as, y'know. they're all dead and one of them double died in the most yakety sax way possible. ]

So your plan didn’t really work out for you then?

[ stares into the abyss for a couple of minutes. ]

How tragic for you.

[ dryly. ]

Seems like the party is the only way, but there’s flexibility there.

[ siiiiighs. ]

Not exactly. [ … ] I figured you’d decided whatever came out of taking that plunge was too much hassle for you to bother with, seeing as you didn’t do anything for weeks. But you picked a hell of a time to suddenly decide it was worth it.

[ a Side Look ] And a hell of a couple of people to test your theories on.

Genuinely the worst timing you could’ve come up with, that your reason to act cropped up right at the point no one actually needed to die anymore.

[ which, as far as date thinks, is probably a factor in how furious people were. ]

Although… well. It didn’t stop it happening again anyway. [ sorry to filbo only. ]

[ this entire game has been "blame the drink" so, that's my valid advice to you. ]

Yeah, well.

You kinda got the "finding out" part of "fucking around" handed to you pretty swiftly afterwards, so it's up the individual if they want to stay pissed. Sounds like we have a potential chance to get even those who were killed a second chance if we play our cards right, so it's better to put energy into that as far as I'm concerned.

[ and y'know. everything that happened in trial, especially the skull breaking thing. yikes. ]
