If you think these sharks are impressive, you should see Jaws. They used man made mechanical sharks, so they were even more life like than the cgi ones here.

A mechanical shark...that sounds amazing!

[She is much more about mechanical things than cgi tbh]

How does it work? Do they have an external solar panel connected by a cord, so they can remove it and make it look more shark-like?

No solar panel required actually! It was a steel frame and they used a combo of hydraulics, along with some air-powered pneumatic mechanisms to move the different parts.

But there must have been some power source to get it to move, even with air power. They didn't just wait for a breeze, right?
