[ the funniest part is that when i went back and reread scenes for memshares there was one where he said his favorite was super spicy pork miso ramen so the garlic's a lie anyway ]

A bit disconcerting to have had these twice in a row now, hm?

I don't like that both Lavi and Uriel just forgot everything that happened though.

I'll have to try to get the details from her before tomorrow. It's difficult to tell whether that happened the same way for both of them. It seemed like she remembered something, at least, even if she was confused about it.

Either way it ended with her killing someone she cared about. The details will help figure out what the hell is going on, hopefully but--

In any case, I can safely say that if I wake up in the middle of the night on a Thursday going forward, I won't be leaving the room unless someone is actually approaching with a weapon.

I know. When you think back, no one ever said murder was the way to secure an invite. It was something Bucky claimed because he saw something none of us did. [ he frowns. ]

Last week I assumed that Lavi forgetting what happened to Mikiri was because everyone was forgetting things that week. But Uriel also forgot what happened when she killed Zagreus.

I'm still not sure what to make of the memory matter this week without more detail. But each week, there seems to have been something luring the killers into it, either by providing a motive or creating a situation where an accident is likely to happen. It's hard to believe it's as unintentional as they say.

People wouldn't wake up if there wasn't an intent to kill from somewhere. But for the past two weeks we've had people who wouldn't choose to kill each other stuck in these situations.

I'm willing to bet there's a little meddling going on somewhere.

I agree. Though I do wonder how it's determined who will awaken during the night in those cases.

The first two weeks it was easy to conclude that people would only awaken if they were intending to kill or if they were planned to be a victim. Last week they both at least started out in the same place, and this week they didn't even have that.

I'd say it was random, but it can't be. If it was then we were unlucky as all hell the past two weeks, considering who got picked.

[ he's scrunching up his forehead in thought. ] It's not location, and apparently it's not intent... is it really just down to what counts as the worst case scenario? [ y'know. ] "Torture". It doesn't have to be physical.

This place was always supposed to be about more creative forms of it.

Though it still strikes me as odd that they wouldn't acknowledge it being a part of the program if that's the case.

If it's coming from the big guy, maybe they're averting their eyes.

They're quick to say it isn't, but it's not as if we can take anything they say without a grain of salt anyway.

Do you believe any of this is really what they say it is? The whole hell thing.
