Much like how the Persephone we've met here is presumably different than the one Zagreus knew in his world and different from the one others of us know from our own worlds' mythologies, while still clearly sharing some of the same lore and fulfilling the same role.
Though she's a lot more charming than any of these Satans are, of course.
Something like that. He's the greatest power in Gehenna — our demon realm — but it's a very different place from this. Not nearly so similar to the human world.
