Normally I would say they're not going to give us anything, but this isn't as, you know, fire and brimstone as I imagined it would be. So maybe they'll surprise us.
Well, I can't deny that this has some style to it. Piling up little annoyances and uncomfortable conditions is much more interesting — and a much bigger time-killer — than simply throwing someone into a fire to be prodded with hot pokers.
But frankly, I don't believe any of this is what they say it is.
...I don't really know. I asked them and they said they were sure I was supposed to be here, but I'm kind of nervous to ask about the actual reason? Like, what if it's a really valid reason that I just haven't happened to think about yet?
